ONS-EN Release du Jour

Here’s another ONScripter-EN release (onscripter-en-20100221) with embedded “ons-en” icon for Windows, a few minor features, and some bugfixes, like for Japanese filename handling on Vista/Windows 7.  Back to PONScripter!

    Is it normal that the ONScripter icon shows up instead of the Rena one when I launch the program with Higurashi? I tried with Umineko and the icon in the upper left corner of the window is still Battler.

      Hi Orophin,

      Did the previous onscripter-en.exe show the Rena icon correctly? Do you have the “icon.png” of Rena in the higurashi patch folder, along with the new onscripter-en.exe?

        I tried to use the old build instead (20100130) and the Rena icon was there. It went back to the ONScripter icon as soon as I overwrote it for the latest version, though. And yes, the Rena icon is in the patch folder.

          Hmm… it works for me in one folder, but when I copied the icon.png and onscripter-en.exe to another folder, it didn’t use the Rena icon. Color me stumped for now, but at least I’ve confirmed the issue…
